Free food, games and a live band!
Christa and Liscet (from left) are both Cru student leaders and Resident Hall advisors at Kean University. At the Spring planning retreat, the team decided to put on an event where the students at Kean would feel comfortable around Christians and not pressured to talk about God. So to show that Christians can have a good time, these RA’s provided the food as part of their “floor programs” and with the rest of the leaders, invited residents to coffee and games.
The following week author of “Jesus without Religion”, Rick James, came to speak to a crowd in the Cougar’s Den on campus about the facts of who Jesus is. Three students indicated decisions for Christ at this event! Praise God!
Christa Diaz and Maria Yousef (pictured below) are two of 5 student leaders at Kean University who attended our 12th annual fellowship dinner. They are each going on Summer Projects with Jesus Film, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Christa (left) is going to Jerusalem and Maria (center) is going to London. Please pray they are able to raise their full financial support by June.
