Standing in the Rain

"Age to Age He stands and time is in His hands, beginning and the end."

God has been so great to me! This week has been difficult and it's only Wednesday but He is so much greater than any other name... pain, heartache, grief... He is so much greater!
ppp
Thursday night, I received my new used Toyota Yaris 2007 hatchback! Praise God! Friday morning it didn't start. (drip drip) After my staff meeting, I called the company, who happily replaced the battery at their expense. Praise God! Then I called insurance and drove the car to NY so that my dad could check it out. I noticed the passenger door didn't close all the way and the notification light would come on when I drove. (drip...drizzle) On my return to Kean, a student of mine told me about his father who is a mechanic and I went to see him Tuesday morning, when he fixed it free of charge! Praise God!

At Kean this week, I've been taking the girls I disciple to go share their faith on campus. With one student, we used Soularium to share with a hindu student. The next day I took another student and we had a spiritual conversations using http://
crupress.campuscrusadeforchrist.com/evangelism/perspectivewith two upperclassmen in the library. Later that day we went to the cafeteria and decided to sit with someone for lunch. Upon return from getting our food, the young lady left. I decided to use the time to train my student in another method of sharing the Gospel but God had other plans. He literally brought a young man to our table to have lunch with us. So as he ate, we filled the table with pictures to start a spiritual conversation using Soularium. So far no one has prayed to know God personally through faith in Jesus Christ but 5 students are now thinking about God and spiritual things.Praise God!

Since stepping out in boldness, it would appear we have wounded the enemy. He has been fighting back very hard through the family relationships of my students. (rain) Please pray that my students stand in the rain and endure til the end despite the difficulties.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us..."-Hebrews 12:1
